You are a powerhouse, make-it-happen kind of mom. Your days overflow with doing things for others and your needs often take a backseat. You hurry from one thing to the next, and when you crawl into bed at night, tired but wired, you're left feeling exhausted and guilty.

Your babies are growing up so quickly, they seem to be changing every day. You need to take pictures of them, but you only have time for a quick snap with your phone.  You struggle to get them to look at the camera and smile and you're NEVER in the pictures with them.

I get it. You are not alone. Sometimes it seems that life is racing by and despite our best efforts to do it ALL, we are left feeling overwhelmed.

Not so long ago I was in your shoes, struggling to find the time and energy to photograph my son as he was growing and changing like crazy. I didn't hire a professional to take his picture when he was a newborn!

What I learned is if you don't take pictures and print them, you miss out on the joy of seeing their portraits displayed on your walls at home. That is why I am so passionate about the portrait sessions and prints I offer for families and newborns.

look back on these years and remember that I was always there, cheering them on, and teaching them about love, honesty, kindness and compassion.

When the kids are at school, it's time for me to hit the studio and work with moms like you to create ah-mazing portraits of your family to hang in your home!

I am a proud mom to my 14-year-old son and my two bonus kids: a 17-year-old son and a 15-year-old daughter. Teenagers are hard, but my kids are my world. I run them back and forth to scouts, sports, church events, friends houses and everywhere else. I do ALL the laundry (really how do kids wear so many clothes?) and I feel like I'm always feeding them. I listen to their problems and give them advice. I want them to

As I got older, I spent a lot of time taking pictures of my friends. (Those were the days of disposable film cameras when you had to wait to discover that all the pictures you took were awful and out of focus!) But over time I got better.

Then I graduated high school and went to UGA to become a veterinarian. One Organic Chemistry class killed that dream. While deciding on a new major,

When I first picked up a camera I was just a tiny little thing. My Genie (my grandmother) showed me how to look through the viewfinder and click the button. I was hooked.

It all started...

I have been a professional family, newborn and maternity photographer for 10 years. But I have been taking pictures much longer than that.

I studied photography at UGA in Athens and abroad in Cortona, Italy. While I was studying I had my son Tristan and did not hire a professional photographer when he was a newborn. I did take some portraits myself, but I was young and

I realized, I wanted to be a photographer.

i believe deep in my heart that every mom should HAVE PORTRAITS OF HER BABIES THAT MAKE HER BEAM WITH PRIDE AND JOY.

So, I bought a camera, and the rest was history. (j.k. there's more...)

inexperienced. That regret lead me to study newborn posing and safety. Now I thrive on photographing new life and the loving families that surround it. Photographing newborns is my passion and I am honored to be a part of those memories for your family.
